SOCIALIZING YOUR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD

Dawn Czahor and Mike Eisenstein from Hammond Middle School will discuss their program "Peer Buddies.” Tracy Parent, Special Educator and parent, will talk about independence and what it means for children within school, home, community, and work settings. PARENTS’ BASIC RIGHTS IN THE SPECIAL EDUCATION PROCESS
Tuesday, February 27th 7:00 – 9:00 .p.m.

Arc of Howard County, Ellicott City
Sibshops is a celebration of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special health or developmental needs. Geared to children ages 4 to 7, it’s as a safe place to talk about the good and not so good parts about having a sibling with special needs while taking part in fun games, activities and art projects.
